PWR Authors at the 2019 Rossmoor Fall Bazaar

PWR authors had a great time at this year's Rossmoor Fall Bazaar. Authors sold their books at the Bazaar on Saturday, November 2, 2019, 9am to 2pm, at Gateway Clubhouse in the Oak Room.
The bazaar is always a popular, joyful event and a perfect place to pick up some relatively inexpensive holiday gifts, including, of course, books. Authors were there to sell, autograph and discuss their books. The Fall Bazaar offers an opportunity for holiday shopping. A personally autographed book with a dedication to the recipient makes an ideal gift. Subjects are wide-ranging, from fiction and non-fiction and are geared to all ages. They reflect the diverse background and wide interest of PWR club members.
Participating authors included: Bob Bone (“Fire Bone! A Maverick Guide to a Life in Journalism”), Peggy Dougherty (“Age Matters”), Esther Escott (“Plum Bottom”), Jon Foyt (“The Third Half of Our Lives”), Donna Kaulkin (“Brenda Corrigan Went Downtown”), Joanna Kraus (“Oh, Little Ham of Buffalo, A Korean Adoption Memoir”), Karl Livengood (“Livengood Chronicles”), Wendy Markel (“Berkley Postcard History Book”), Jim Moore (“The Life of Robert Noble Burgess”), Rosemary O’Neill (“Stop Look & Listen”), Dorothy Pritchett (“Corbilina and the Cowboy”), Duke Robinson (“Standing on My Head… with My Fly Open”), Gloria Sampson (“Alaska Traveler’s Sketch Book”), Dr. Robert Sieben (“The Homeowner’s Guide to Wildfire Prevention”), Tricia Spiegel, Ph.D. (“Awesome Advantages of Being a Tall Girl”), James Ware, Ph.D. (“Making Meetings Matter”), Eleanor Vincent (“Swimming with Maya: A Mother’s Story”), and Bob Wolf (“Honey I Sold the Red Cadillac”).
Committee members for this event include Lee Gale Gruen as coordinator assisted by Jon Foyt, Joanna Kraus and Wendy Markel.
