Book title - "Cancer Again: A Personal Journey of Hope and Inspiration."
Sandy is a two-time cancer survivor. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and then uterine cancer in 2012. She beat cancer both times! Unfortunately, in 1971 Sandy's mother died of cancer when she was only 53 years old.
Sandy was born in San Francisco in 1942. When she was 12 years old she moved to Sunnyvale, California. She attended Benner Middle School and graduated from Fremont Union High School in 1960.
She now resides in Walnut Creek, California. Sandy has been married to Charlie for over 30 years. According to Sandy, her husband been loving and supportive for all these years.
Participating in Relay For Life in Maui and the Susan G. Komen San Francisco Walk, Sandy has helped raise funds for cancer research. Sandy will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book to cancer research.
Over the years Sandy has personally seen the many advances in cancer research, thanks to those who have also donated to the search for a cure for cancer.
