Published Writers' author of the month is Dorothy Pritchett, whose book "Corbilina and the Cowboy" will be on display in the Rossmoor Library.
The book, intended for children ages 3 through 7, is the 4th in Pritchett's series of books about the adventures of a grandmother (Nana), her grandchildren, and Corbilina, a little fairy, who has no voice but shows kindness through her actions. In this book, Logan--the cowboy-- visits Nana in California and receives a special gift.
According to Dorothy: "The themes of my books convey basic values of kindness, compassion, honesty, etc. with fairy magic to create a sense of wonder and the 'what if' of imagination."
